Dr. Pat Bishop

 

Pat Bishop was a conductor and arranger. She ran a choir  - The Lydians - and was Musical Director of The Desperadoes. Described as the leading lady of the Arts in Trinidad, she was also a lecturer at University. Many a obituaries sang her praises as a businesswoman, singer, steelpan arranger, fashion designer and conductor. After she died Phase II performed "Arch Bishop of Pan" in tribute to her, written by Boogsie. Government ministers gave speeches about what a sad day it was for the country when she died on the 19th August 2011.
